Global Proofing
The goal of Global Proofing is to take an existing paper and make it clearer and easier to read without sacrificing the original content. The end result will be a paper that retains the style of the author but has a more polished presentation and flow.
How we define proofreading
Proofreading is taking an existing written work (that has made it past the editing process) and making it more readable by correcting grammatical errors, punctuation, and sentence structure.
How we define editing
Editing is performed during the writing process of the paper, where the author(s) of the work refines it into its final form.
What we won't do
We will not take the existing work and rewrite it to sound like a native English speaker has written it. One of our goals is to preserve the author’s writing style as much as possible during the proofreading process.
